Jafa’s interdisciplinary practice combines film, installation, sculpture, and performance to examine assumptions about race and identity. Throughout his multifaceted career, Jafa has worked with John Akomfrah, Ava DuVernay, Beyoncé and Solange Knowles, Spike Lee, and Jay-Z, among many others.
